Laura & Melvyn got married at the mighty Delapare Abbey Wedding Venue in Northampton and what an ACE wedding it was! Delapre Abbey is one of my favourite spots for family & pre wedding shoots (and also for walks with my dog haha!). And now I know it is also and incredible place for relaxed and beautiful weddings.

THE VENUE

Laura & Melvyn loved the fact that Delapare Abbey Wedding Venue is in the middle of town, but you wouldn’t know it. The wooden staircase sold it for them when they went to visit the venue for the first time and who can blame them, right?? The couple have opted for a non-conventional style wedding – brother was giving the bride away; there was no top table; they had an afternoon tea rather than a sit down meal; and my favourite – cheese stack rather than a cake!
