An Intimate Garden Wedding | Wedding Photographer Leicestershire

As a wedding photographer in Leicestershire, I get the privilege of capturing truly unique love stories, and this intimate garden wedding was one for the books. Held at the couple’s family home, it was a celebration of love, simplicity, and authenticity.

A Personal Touch to the Day

The day began with a quick civil ceremony at the local registry office. From there, the couple returned to their garden, where their two best friends led a heartfelt ceremony. It was a beautiful moment filled with laughter, happy tears, and love, as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Adding a meaningful cultural element, the family exchanged Indian garlands, symbolising unity and respect. This special moment brought an extra layer of warmth and connection to the celebration.

Making the Most of the Perfect Day

With just 30 guests, the atmosphere was relaxed and full of joy. Even the couple’s adorable dogs were part of the festivities, adding their own charm to the day! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, allowing everything to unfold in the garden as planned, including speeches and evening dancing under the stars.

As the sun began to set, I took Shay & Lulu away for a quick 10-minute golden hour couple pictures. The light was absolutely magical, casting a soft, romantic glow that perfectly reflected the love between the couple. These photos are some of my personal favourites from the day.

Breaking Traditions Their Way

One of the most inspiring aspects of this wedding was how the couple stayed true to themselves. There was no first dance or cake-cutting. Instead, they focused on creating a day that felt genuine and meaningful to them, free from external pressures or trends.
