The Woodlands Hothorpe Hall

Shelby & Richard got married at the most beautiful Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall.  They had their ceremony in the woods surrounded by their closes family & friends. It was an intimate gathering and Shelby & Richard made sure everything was beautifully decorated which resulted in the most wonderful rustic look.

BRIDAL PREP

Shelby got ready with her bridesmaids in one of the lodges near the woods. She did her own hair and later on the make up artist arrived and worked her magic 🙂 Richard was only a few lodges away as well which meant I could pop in there and take a few pics of him in the morning as well.

OUTDOOR CEREMONY  AT THE WOODLANDS HOTHORPE HALL

The couple really wanted to get married outdoors and the woodlands area at the Hothorpe Hall Woodland was just the most perfect place for it.

Shelby & Richard were both really happy to spend as much time as needed for their photos which resulted in so many gorgeous portraits from throughout the day.

We split their photos into 3 10min walks. The first walk was just after the ceremony. We went back to the woods and took some photos in daylight with all the greenery around us. After dinner there was a brief opportunity for a few sunset photos and we really took advantage of that too!

Finally, after dusk we wandered off for a little walk and managed to capture the ambient light from the festoon lights in the woods. In my opinion they look magical, so warm and dreamy!
