DODMOOR HOUSE

Jo and Jason got married in autumn at the wonderful Dodmoor House, which is a beautiful barn in Northamptonshire. It was a gorgeous day and everything from start to finish was perfect. Even just looking through these photos puts a massive smile on my face!

Getting ready

Jo got ready at the couples house with her bridesmaids & closest family, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. The ladies did their own make up and the hairdresser did her magic. The bride then took the short trip with her dad to get to the church. The bridesmaids arrived first at the church, and whilst we were waiting the wind started to pick up- just look at the pics- I’m surprised their hair stayed in tact!

The Dress & Bridesmaid dresses

Jo wore beautifully fitted Pronovias dress and her bridesmaids wore burnt orange dresses and they looked so perfect. The Bride put a lot of effort and attention to detail into making everything look perfect and it really paid off.

The ceremony

The ceremony was a beautiful service at the church. The vicar was really lovely and made Jo & Jason super relaxed. During the ceremony they had a couple of  beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service and so beautiful. We did the confetti shot just outside the church followed by a few group photos and then everyone went to Dodmoor House to enjoy some food & drinks.

After the ceremony

Jo & Jason arrived at the venue in an epic green vintage  MG car – what an entrance hey?? The reception was in one of the barns at Dodmoor House. Jo & Jason chose Dodmoor House because it’s so cosy and relaxed and they just fell in love with it.  I love shooting Dodmoor House weddings because the grounds & their barns are just incredible. Dodmoor House is such a lovely venue, choosing this place for your wedding day you can rest assured you will be in good hands from start to finish!

FOOD

The couple opted for an amazing spread instead of the canapés. It was a hit with everyone –  I mean just looking back at the photos makes me feel hungry!

Venue Decor

Jo & Jason decided on a minimalistic & simple table decorations. Green foliage & tea-lights worked perfectly on the long tables.  The couple also decided to hire cross back chairs which in my opinion completed the look of the barn! They also had a few signs printed on large piece of material – one at an entrance, one in each barn & also as a table seating plan which was very clever!
