Kirsty and Michael got married in May at the gorgeous Elms Meadow Tipi Wedding Venue, which is a new venue in Northamptonshire. They had their ceremony at St Peter’s Church in Raunds, which is just incredible. It was such a happy day and even the weather played ball!
“Honestly Ania we cannot thank you enough for everything, you are totally amazing and everyone needs to have you at their wedding!!”

Getting ready
Kirsty got ready at her own house with her bridesmaids, mum & daughter Darcie, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. Everyone did their own make up and Kirsty’s friend did her’s and it was so natural. The wedding party then hopped into amazing Camper Van to get to the ceremony. If know me, you’ll know that I absolutely love Camper Vans and had one at my own wedding too! 🙂
Getting hitched
The ceremony was a beautiful service at a nearby church in Raunds. I really loved how big and open the church was and the light coming through was just spectacular! During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading. It was so emotional and so meaningful. Kirsty & Michael’s daughter Darcie was so interested in her parents getting married she didn’t wand to leave their side even during the vows and ring exchange! :).
The reception
The reception was in a tipi at Elms Meadow Tipi Wedding Venue in Pytchley. They chose the venue because it has so many options and they just love it there. It was a festival kinda wedding, which I adored! I love shooting Tipi weddings because it’s usually really so chilled. I love the fact that the tipi had an actual door leading in,twinkly lights wrapped in the beams, the indoor fire pit and the it’s in the middle of a field!
They had gin and tonics all round in the afternoon, and a photobooth in the evening. The photo booth was actually a converted Camper Van which they used earlier to get to the church! Such great idea! They decorated the venue with flowers and fairly lights, because they wanted to keep it simple. The couple were really looking forward to sitting outside in the evening with a blanket, a glass of wine and candles as this was theirs and their friends favourite passed time.
The couple
Kirsty wore La Sposa dress and Michael wore Marc Darcy suit and they looked so beautiful. Kirsty’s flowers were beautiful blush pink roses with eucalyptus & gypsophila and Michael’s buttonhole was a single rose with gypsophila.
Kirsty and Michael’s wedding was everything I love about weddings and so laid back. Here’s their awesome wedding!
