“Meet me at midnight in the forest of my dreams
We’ll make a fire and count the stars
That shimmer above the trees”
I am not going to lie…when Pam & Grant suggested to go to the Lake District for their pre wedding session, my heart jumped up like crazy and I was ready for the adventure! I’ve already been to the Lake District a few times before and have also done Donna & Ben’s pre wedding session there as well. You can check out their incredible summer wedding here.
Despite the fact that the weather was horrible and it rained practically all day, we didn’t get disheartened at all! We climbed a few hills and even though I’m afraid of heights, I would do it all again tomorrow! 🙂 We went to Cathedral Quarry near Little Langdale and to actually get to the caves we had to walk for about 5 minutes through a rather dark tunnel which was super fun and a little bit scary haha!
Pam had bought her amazing yellow coat from Joules a day before our session and I think the yellow colour really popped in between all those green fields and moss. It had also brightened up the rainy day for sure!
Pam & Grant also brought their dog Watson with them and it’s safe to say that he had enjoyed hiking as well! I absolutely can’t wait for their big day in August now, I know good things are in store! 🙂
